Mr. Ham Radio creates beautifully designed, printable certificates for licensed amateur radio operators using information from their official FCC license records.

Why Mr. Ham Radio Exists

Earning an amateur radio license takes time, study, persistence, and a genuine interest in radio communication. Passing the examination and receiving your call sign is an achievement worth celebrating.

Unfortunately, the official FCC license is designed primarily as an administrative record. It is practical, but it is rarely something an operator would frame and proudly display.

Mr. Ham Radio was created to change that. We transform the information contained in your FCC record (your name, call sign, license class, and important dates) into a professional certificate that recognizes your accomplishment and your place in the amateur radio community.

How It Works

Creating your personalized certificate takes only three simple steps:

1. Enter Your Call Sign We look up your information using the FCC’s publicly available amateur radio licensing data.
2. Choose Your Design Select your favorite certificate from our growing collection of classic, modern, commemorative, and achievement designs.
3. Pay, Download, and Print Complete your secure payment through Stripe, then download and print your personalized certificate.

Our local FCC data is refreshed daily, helping ensure that your certificate reflects the FCC record available when it is created.

We do not invent or alter license information. If a particular field is not published by the FCC, it will not appear as official record information on the certificate.

Some designs may also include a summary of the operating privileges associated with a license class, such as authorized bands and modes. These summaries are prepared by Mr. Ham Radio based on FCC Part 97 regulations. They are provided as a helpful reference and are not direct quotations from an individual FCC license record.

Certificate Designs

Mr. Ham Radio offers a growing collection of certificate styles for different operators, occasions, and milestones.

The collection includes:

New designs are added regularly.

Silent Key memorial certificates are completed using information provided by the customer rather than through the current FCC license lookup. Because amateur radio call signs may eventually be reassigned, the current FCC record may no longer represent the operator being honored.

The Silent Key memorial design shown on Mr. Ham Radio was created in memory of a very dear friend of mine, George Ulm, W9EVT, who recently passed away. George will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

You do not need to create an account, choose a password, or manage a subscription to purchase a certificate.

Simply enter the required information, select your preferred design, complete the secure payment, and download your personalized certificate. We recommend saving the downloaded file in a secure location so you can print additional copies whenever needed.

Our goal is to keep the entire process quick and simple, from entering your call sign to downloading a finished certificate in just a few minutes.

Secure Payments Through Stripe

Credit and debit card payments are securely processed by Stripe, a trusted third-party payment processor.

All payment transactions take place through Stripe’s secure payment platform. Mr. Ham Radio does not see, receive, or store your complete credit card, debit card, or banking information. Your financial information is submitted directly to and handled by Stripe under its security and privacy standards.

Mr. Ham Radio retains only the limited transaction information necessary to confirm your purchase and provide access to the product you purchased. We do not sell your personal information.

Who Is Behind Mr. Ham Radio?

Mr. Ham Radio was created by Jovan Peric, KB9K, an Amateur Extra Class operator who has been involved in amateur radio since 1991.

Jovan understands the pride that comes with studying for an amateur radio license, passing the examination, receiving a call sign, making contacts, and becoming part of the worldwide amateur radio community.

Mr. Ham Radio combines his lifelong passion for amateur radio with the goal of giving fellow operators something attractive and meaningful to display, preserve, or give as a gift.
